I am very excited to say that I won an award at the Manning Valley Chambers of Commerce Business awards for 2009! I entered the 'services' category. The dinner was on Friday night, and I can't say how shocked and excited I was to hear my name as the winner! A huge thank you to those who helped me with my submission, and with my business ideas in general. Will post some photos when I get them.

It was a beautiful afternoon at the beach for this shoot. This was a portrait shoot of the kids for their Mother. They were all happy to get into the sand and water - which made for some great fun shots!

Little Miss Lara is full of beans! The photo shoot was go, go, go! I love to capture the personality of these little people and Lara had plenty of that! It was great to have Mum and Dad there as well as her Grandparents. She is a very loved little girl, which is so great to see.

I went up in a plane again a couple of weeks ago to get some more aerial photographs of the area. It was the perfect morning for it. I went around Taree West, out to Tinonee and Old Bar. It really is a beautiful area we live in!

Another stunning family! And again, just a lovely family. Zahra is a gorgeous baby girl, who just seemed to enjoy everything we did. She even let me give her a cuddle without getting upset! I really enjoy getting to know families that I photograph, and already I can see the changes in Zahra when they call in to say hello! She'll be running around in no time!

We did this shoot down on the Riverbank. It's great now that council has made some changes to the area, it's created an area that's great for families and great to photograph. These guys were just so much fun too - up for anything! Here's just a quick preview of some of the photos...

Opening Night

The studio has been open for a few months now, but last week we had the 'official' opening night. I had great people to help me with the night - Lyn Thorncraft & Sharon Stevenson did a fantastic job of the catering. Steve Attkins from Great Lakes Wines not only supplied the fantastic wine for the evening, but was a huge help to me in preparing for the night. I photographed Katie's sister's wedding a couple of years ago, while Katie was expecting. So on Katie & Jason's wedding day, their little one, Tayla, stole the show. It was a beautiful wedding and the weather was perfect. Katie wore a pink dress, which looked amazing.

Well....Linda & Ben have actually been married a little while now....but I hadn't got their photos up on the blog! Sorry guys! Things have been crazy busy here for me, and yet again the blog has been neglected. But I'm getting onto it now....

This wedding was one that gave me goosebumps, truly. I think the day just went so smoothly, and you really could feel the love between these guys. And of course young Joshua kept everyone well entertained too. Congrats guys.

I have photographed Rex on 2 occasions now. Rex is an artist based in Old Bar, whose works are selling to some very high profile clients around Australia. His work is sold through 'The Artery', an art gallery in Sydney, and he was recently profiled in "where" magazine. Despite his success, Rex remains completely down to earth and lots of fun to work with. Look out for him - Rex Winston Warford.

New beginnings...

I have not blogged in so long...I decided that I'd start again. The last few months have been so crazy & so much has happened! Christmas was a huge month and January was spent getting ready to open the doors of the new studio! I have been open down in Centerpoint Arcade for a few weeks now, and I'm starting to get used to my new work area. It's so great to have a studio right behind me all the time, and I've had some great subjects to photograph already!

I haven't blogged my portraits or weddings for a while, but over the coming weeks I will add more images to the blog so you can see what I've been up to...

But first of all, here's a few photos of my new little 'space'.
